I obtained my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1998. Since then I have worked as a staff psychologist at the Cincinnati Veterans Medical Center and with The Counseling Source. I have had the privilege to work with many individuals at the end of their lives, and from them I have recognized the importance of spiritual strengths to cope with suffering. In 2001 I decided to start a private practice in order to blend my interest in general psychological practice with health psychology practices. I now have two offices, one in West Chester and one in Blue Ash.
My training and practice emphasizes a bio–psycho–socio–spiritual model of therapy. This simply means that our beliefs, feelings, and actions are largely related to biological, psychological, social (cultural), and spiritual factors. Therapy with me may address any or all of these factors in the pursuit of greater well–being.
I am a member of the American Psychological Association, Cincinnati Academy of Professional Psychology, and American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
